    CENTENNIAL, Colo. — An AMBER Alert was issued for a 1-year-old girl taken by non-custodial parents Saturday morning, Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office said. Ardin Reid is described as being 2-foot-5, weighing 20 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen around 1 a.m. near the 5160 block of South Quintero Street in Centennial. She was taken by force by two non-custodial parents, 42-year-old Jared Reid and 41-year-old Rose Kim, according to the sheriff's office.

    GYPSUM, Colo — A woman accused of kidnapping her biological child in California nearly six months ago after losing custody was arrested in Colorado this week, the U.S. Marshals Service said Friday. Tina Medina, 43, was taken into custody Tuesday in Gypsum on suspicion of parental kidnapping at a home near Chaparral Ranch Road and Spring Creek Road in Gypsum.

    ESTES PARK, Colo. — Rocky Mountain National Park said on Friday that human remains were found. The remains were found late Wednesday in the area of the Alpine Ridge Trail near Trail Ridge Road, according to park spokesperson Kyle Patterson. Park Law Enforcement Rangers responded to the scene where the remains were found and are investigating. Larimer County Coroner's Office will release the name of the person found after confirming their identity and notifying next-of-kin.

    DENVER — A historic theater in Denver that has been empty for decades will reopen under a new owner. The Oriental Theater announced that it has been working to renovate the Federal Theatre, at 3830 N. Federal Blvd., since January 2024 and turn it into a music venue. The building is currently scheduled to reopen in September. The Federal Theatre originally opened in 1923 as a movie house but has mostly sat vacant since the 1970s.

    DILLON, Colo. — Loveland Pass is closed due to a landslide, Summit County Sheriff's Office said Sunday. The sheriff's office said just before 9 a.m. that the slide was found near mile marker 226 on U.S. Highway 6, about a mile into Clear Creek County. The landslide is estimated to be about 100 feet wide and 20 feet deep. No vehicles or people were caught in the slide. The road is closed from just east of Arapahoe Basin to Loveland Ski Area.
