1. IntroductionLet M d ( R ) be the set of all d × d matrices with entries in R, and let A ∈ M d ( R ) be an expanding matrix. Let N ≥ 2 and n 1 , … , n N be positive integers. Write A j = A n j , 1 ≤ j ≤ N and D = { d 1 , … , d N } ⊂ R d . Then, we can define a self-affine iterated function system (IFS) { S j } j = 1 N on R d by S j ( x ) = A j − 1 ( x + d j ) , j = 1 , … , N .

AbstractProtein phosphorylation is one of the most common mechanisms regulating cellular signaling pathways, and many kinases and phosphatases are proven drug targets. Upon phosphorylation, protein functions can be further regulated by the distinct isomerase Pin1 through cis-trans isomerization. Numerous protein targets and many important roles have now been elucidated for Pin1. However, no tools are available to detect or target cis and trans conformation events in cells.

3. Results 3.1. Differences in Physical Properties 3.1.1. DensityDensity is one of the important material properties, which is related to mechanical strength. Figure 3 shows the variation in the total dry density and basic density of Moso bamboo with harvesting bandwidth under strip harvesting. The change trend of total dry density was consistent with that of basic density, which decreased first and then increased with the increase in harvesting bandwidth.

Abstract:The fast development of urban built-up areas in China is causing many problems, such as pollution, congestion, etc. How to effectively evaluate the coordination between urban areas and environmental problems has been attracting many scholars worldwide. This paper intends to discover this “secretary” through investigating the built-up areas and their accompanied economic and environmental factors over almost 30 years (1992 to 2020) in Nanjing, China.
