1. IntroductionThere are currently more than 150 known types of RNA modification. The most widespread type of RNA modification is methylation including N6-methyladenosine (m6A), 5-methylcytosine (m5C), N7-methylguanosine (m7A), and N1-methyladenosine (m1A) [1]. m6A is a type of methylation that occurs on the N-atom at the sixth position of adenine (A) bases [2].
