AbstractDiabetes mellitus can cause impaired and delayed wound healing, leading to lower extremity amputations; however, the mechanisms underlying the regulation of vascular endothelial growth factor–dependent (VEGF-dependent) angiogenesis remain unclear. In our study, the molecular underpinnings of endothelial dysfunction in diabetes are investigated, focusing on the roles of disabled-2 (Dab2) and Forkhead box M1 (FOXM1) in VEGF receptor 2 (VEGFR2) signaling and endothelial cell function.

Two-Dimensional Fluorescence and Chemiluminescence Orthogonal Probe for Discriminating and Quantifying Similar Proteins Given that proteins with minor variations in amino acid sequences cause distinct functional outcomes, identifying and quantifying similar proteins is crucial, but remains a long-standing challenge.

1. IntroductionMammography is a procedure that uses low-energy X-rays to photograph the breast and is widely used for the early screening and diagnosis of breast cancer. The breast border, the nipple, and the pectoral muscle are three important anatomical markers on mammograms [,]. Specifically, the pectoral muscle is usually identified first in mammography-based screening and diagnosis.
