1. IntroductionAccording to the annual report released by Skybox Security in 2022 [1], a total of 20,175 CVE vulnerabilities were disclosed in 2021, marking a 10% increase from the previous year. This represents a new pinnacle in the rate of vulnerability growth since 2018, and it is the first instance where the disclosure of vulnerabilities has exceeded the threshold of 20,000.
