AbstractThe hypothalamus is the brain region that regulates systemic body metabolism and multiple brain functions. The adult hypothalamus harbors neural stem/precursor cell (NSC)-like cells. Along with age-related body changes, the hypothalamic NSC (htNSC) population declines, indicating the potential of htNSC replacement as an anti-aging strategy. Here, we developed protocol to generate htNSCs from human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs).

The Walmart AMP in Rogers is looking to fill dozens of positions. The event venue is hosting a job fair Saturday, February 22nd from 1pm-4pm and Tuesday, February 25th from 5pm-8pm.The AMP is hiring for positions in parking , security, housekeeping, custodial, culinary support, and concessions. The Walmart AMP says applicants with appointments will be interviewed first, but walk-ins are available.

Fayetteville will observe the five-year anniversary of Officer Stephen Carr's death in two weeks, reflecting on his legacy and the memories shared by his colleagues. Fayetteville police officer Stephen Paul Carr was killed inside his patrol car. "It was definitely the worst day of my life," said Corporal Natalie Eucce. Five years ago, the world lost a beloved police officer, but for Eucce, she lost a best friend.
Plane headed to Mississippi crashes in Arkansas, killing pilot

The pilot of a plane that took off from Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Corinth, Mississippi, has been killed in a crash. WAPT's sister station, 40/29 News, reported that the sole person on board the six-passenger plane was 68-year-old Robert Phillip Mathis, who died in the crash.Survival Flight, Arkansas Forestry, and a privately owned aircraft searched for the wreckage. After four hours of searching, a ground crew confirmed that the plane had crashed and that the pilot was dead.
