(FOX40.COM) — A Chando’s Tacos employee in Sacramento was struck with a gun Monday night by an armed robber demanding cash from the register. Now, Sacramento Police are asking for the public’s help to find the suspect. Surveillance video shows the moments the armed robber attacked the employee before he got into the register and got away with cash. On Tuesday, the restaurant owner was still in disbelief.

FOX40.com obtained video showing the moments when two burglars kicked down a door inside Mikuni’s midtown location on 1530 J Street. •Video Above: Midtown Sacramento restaurant broken into, suspects still at large“So, they broke into the door, and then somehow they opened the safe, and they got all the cash out from there,” Mikuni owner Taro Arai said.

The city said a police drone caught the man lighting off over 100 illegal fireworks earlier this summer. This is the first year Elk Grove is enforcing its new fireworks fines: $1000 per illegal firework lit.
