The 2025 NBA Draft Combine takes place this week at Chicago's Wintrust Arena, and three Michigan-affiliated players will try to make their NBA Draft dreams a reality. Participating in the week-long event are 2024-25 Michigan stars Danny Wolf and Vlad Goldin. In addition, 247Sports' No. 1 transfer prospect, Alabama-Birmingham transfer Yaxel Lendeborg, committed to Michigan, will also take part in the 75-player event. Though its spot was clinched with a Big Ten Tournament title on Saturday, the Michigan softball team learned the details of its NCAA Tournament fate Sunday evening, as part of the NCAA Tournament selection show. The Wolverines were selected as a 3-seed, and will travel to Austin Texas to try to win a regional that includes host seed No. 6 Texas, 2-seed UCF and 4-seed Eastern Illinois. The Wolverines will take on UCF on 1pm CT on Friday, and the game will air on ESPN2.

Entering this week's Big Ten Tournament, the Michigan softball team badly needed some wins to keep its season alive. The Wolverines had gone 5-9 in April and 11-11 in Big Ten play, good for just eighth in the conference and likely slotting them outside the NCAA Tournament field. Michigan got those wins, but then kept going. And by the time the Wolverines dogpiled on Purdue's Bittinger Field Saturday evening, they had more than a resume-padding win.

The Michigan softball team has won three straight games in the Big Ten Tournament this week. The Wolverines held off Wisconsin Wednesday, upset No. 7 and top-seeded Oregon with a 5-0 win Thursday, then ended Purdue's home-field, postseason run Friday. And on Saturday, Michigan (37-19 overall) will try to end its weekend in West Lafayette with a win, as it takes on No. 10 UCLA (49-9) in the Big Ten Tournament title game.

The Michigan softball team kept its strong weekend in West Lafayette going Friday night, as it took down Purdue in the Big Ten Tournament semifinals to advance to Saturday's championship game. With the 4-2 win, the Wolverines advance to face No. 10 UCLA for a Big Ten Tournament title. The game will be played at 4 p.m. ET, and air on Big Ten Network. Michigan has now won five straight games, including wins over Wisconsin, top-seeded Oregon and the Boilermakers to advance to the title game.
