On Saturday, the 29-year-old was inducted into the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2025. The private ceremony in Waco, Texas, included Mahomes and former Baylor star quarterback Robert Griffin III. During the ceremony, Mahomes pledged to sign 15 high schools, including his alma mater, to Team Mahomes.

The Clay County Prosecutor’s Office announced Sunday evening that 38-year-old Shanetta Bossell has been charged with murder in the first-degree and armed criminal action in the death of 29-year-old Graham Hoffman, a firefighter-paramedic with the Kansas City Fire Department.
