A Cozy Kitchen

A Cozy Kitchen

This blog is a delightful blend of hip-hop vibes, sugar, butter, and flour. I launched it during a time when my job didn’t provide much creative satisfaction. After several years of dedication, I finally took the leap to pursue this passion full-time. Hooray! The recipes I enjoy creating are always warm and comforting, often reflecting my Latin-American heritage. With a Peruvian mother and a Colombian father, you'll discover a mix of traditional dishes from both countries, along with some unique twists that I hope are respectful (since I grew up in the US). You can also expect plenty of treats, including pastries, cakes, breakfast delights, and an abundance of pie!

In the bowl of a stand-up mixer, with the paddle attachment, add the butter, neutral oil, white sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract; beat until nice and fluffy, about 2 to 3 minutes.

Whenever I make my crispy ground beef tacos, I end up with a surplus of tortillas and don’t know what to do with them. I’ll usually throw them in the freezer for later.
