BBC Radio Bristol

BBC Radio Bristol serves as the local radio station for the cities of Bath and Bristol, along with nearby areas like South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, and North East Somerset. It began broadcasting in September 1970 and operates from Broadcasting House in Bristol. The station can be heard on FM at frequencies of 94.9 MHz (Dundry), 104.6 MHz (Bath), and 103.6 MHz (Weston-super-Mare), as well as on DAB. Notably, the AM transmitter located in Mangotsfield, which operated on 1548 kHz, was shut down in February 2016.
