BBC Radio Solent

BBC Radio Solent serves as the local radio station for the Isle of Wight and the English counties of Hampshire and Dorset. The station's studios are situated in Southampton, sharing a modern office building on Havelock Road with the BBC South Today news studios. Additionally, there are local offices in Portsmouth, Newport, Bournemouth, Poole, and Dorchester. Before 1991, the station operated from South Western House, which was a former railway hotel at the old Southampton Terminus station.
