Ravenwood High School used a dominating defensive performance and a stout running game to remain undefeated on the season, defeating Franklin High School 28-7 Friday night. The Raptors (8-0, 4-0) defense racked up eight sacks on the evening and held Franklin to just seven points. The stingy defense failed to surprise Ravenwood head coach Will Hester. “They have been carrying us all year, and they were great again tonight,” Hester said.

Tennessee voters can head to the polls and vote early starting at 8 a.m. Wednesday morning for the 2024 presidential election. In Williamson County, early voting locations are open from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays (except for the Election Commission office location, which opens at 8 a.m. for the Saturday turnout).

Our Game of the Week features an exciting region 6–6A matchup between Williamson County rivals Ravenwood High School and Franklin High School. The Admirals (4-3, 2–1) travel to undefeated Ravenwood (7–0, 3-0) this Friday for a 7 p.m. matchup after falling 17–9 to region rival Brentwood two weeks ago.
