    Starting May 1 st, Manitoba will be rolling out a COVID-19 vaccination campaign for high-risk groups, recommending that people get vaccinated before the summer. Until June 30th, adults 65 and up, Indigenous people over the age of 45, residents of long-term care homes, and immunocompromised individuals aged 6 months and up, will be eligible to receive an additional COVID-19 vaccine dose, as long as it's been more than three months since their most recent one.

    Easter came a little early at Siloam Mission, where the organization served up a special lunch for over 700 people experiencing homelessness in downtown Winnipeg. "There's just a nice vibe going on-people are grateful to receive the meal, and people are also really grateful to be able to give their time. A lot of the volunteers are mixing with the staff, who are always doing this job. We've got an amazing direct service team," said Julianne Aitken, interim CEO at Siloam Mission.
