Seventeen
Seventeen is a magazine in the United States aimed at teenagers, specifically young women aged 10 to 19. As the first teen magazine ever launched in the country, it initially focused on encouraging girls to be responsible citizens and hardworking individuals. However, shortly after its launch, the magazine shifted its focus to fashion and romance, while also emphasizing the importance of self-confidence among young women. Seventeen was first released in September 1944 by Triangle Publications, founded by Walter Annenberg.
