    COVENTRY landmarks and areas in the city centre will be turned blue this evening to celebrate the 75th birthday of the NHS. Areas that will be made awash with blue include Greyfriars Green, Whittle Arch and Christchurch Spire. Created in 1948, the NHS was the first universal health system to be available to all and free at the point of delivery. It now treats more than a million people a day in England alone.
