On any given lunch hour, Joe Fassi Sausage & Sandwich Factory on The Hill is bustling with customers. However, last week, the sub shop was the site of a violent attack. On May 28, an assailant attacked and stabbed owner Tom Coll in the restaurant. The incident was recorded on surveillance cameras. Fortunately, Coll survived, and the local community is now rallying around him and his family.

Local coffee roaster Blueprint Coffee just added three new flavors to its canned, ready-to-drink beverage line, Linear. Lining the shelves alongside Linear Cold Brew – which Blueprint debuted in 2021 – are Linear Oat Latte, Linear Reviver and Linear Chai Soda. The cans come in both single and multi-pack varieties. After 12 years of serving St. Louis, the Blueprint team describes its ready-to-drink line as a continuation of the craftsmanship that locals have come to expect from the brand.
