Some leading experts are forecasting as much as 40mm of rain in parts of the country which will likely lead to weather warnings from Met Eireann. Two social welfare groups are excluded from receiving a €2,000 lump sum payment. The Carer's Support Grant is an annual payment made to eligible carers. Those in receipt of Carer's Allowance, Carer's Benefit or Domiciliary Care Allowance will automatically receive this lump sum. However, if you're not receiving any of these payments, you may still be eligible for the grant. But bear in mind, certain schemes such as Jobseeker's Allowance or Jobseeker's Benefit could exclude you from eligibility.
