A family-run jewellery shop in Connemara has hit out at claims it broke the trust of Ryan Tubridy by posting about his engagement ring yesterday. O’Dalaigh Jewellers in Clifden, Co. Galway, posted a picture on social media of the presenter and his fiancée, Dr Clare Kambamettu, in which they thanked Tubridy, 52, for choosing their shop to buy a ring for ‘a very special lady’.
