    PHOENIX -- The head of the Arizona Sheriffs' Association said Monday that he and his counterparts in all 14 counties should be forced by state law to hold those they have arrested if they are wanted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. At a press conference, Yavapai County Sheriff David Rhodes said he disagrees with the decision of Gov. Katie Hobbs who last week vetoed legislation which was designed to ensure more cooperation between local and federal officials.

In a flurry of vetoes late Friday, the governor also rejected a host of proposed changes in state water laws, alterations to statutes governing the conduct of elections and even a prohibition against the state Department of Agriculture enacting any rules designed to ensure that laying hens have enough room to spread their wings.

No. But if it did, it wouldn’t have helped you anyway, because of the nature of your error. The 24-hour cancellation rule for airfare applies only if you book a flight seven or more days in the future; you booked a room for mere hours before your (mistaken) travel dates.
