Katie Couric (@katiecouric) is a distinguished journalist, a best-selling author recognized by The New York Times, and a co-founder of Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C). Since its inception in 2008, SU2C has raised over $600 million to fund innovative collaborative research, leading to the approval of six new therapies by the FDA. In 2017, she established Katie Couric Media (KCM), which has produced a variety of media initiatives, including a daily newsletter, a podcast, digital video series, and several documentaries. KCM partners with brands that are committed to social causes, creating high-quality content focused on significant issues such as gender equality, environmental sustainability, and mental health. Some of the notable documentaries produced by KCM are: "America Inside Out with Katie Couric," a six-part series for National Geographic; "Gender Revolution: A Journey with Katie Couric," also for National Geographic; "Under the Gun," which aired on EPIX; and "Fed Up," available on platforms like iTunes, Amazon, and YouTube. Additionally, Couric served as the executive producer for "Unbelievable" on Netflix and is currently working on new scripted projects.
