KBFX-CD, operating on channel 58, is a low-power Class A TV station located in Bakersfield, California. It is affiliated with the Fox network and is part of the Sinclair Broadcast Group, which also owns CBS affiliate KBAK-TV (channel 29). Both KBFX and KBAK share studio facilities on Westwind Drive, situated to the west of Downtown Bakersfield. The transmitter for KBFX is positioned on Breckenridge Mountain. In addition to broadcasting its own digital signal, KBFX-CD is also available in high definition on KBAK's second digital subchannel (58.2), using the same transmitter location.

Ashley Flores and Casey Willbanks were first arrested earlier this week when their 9-month-old child was taken to the hospital with a high fever and later tested positive for the drug. Detectives now say all three of the couple’s children have tested positive for cocaine. Flores and Willbanks are each facing three felony counts of child endangerment, one for each child. The children are now in the custody of Child Welfare Services.
