The Key West Citizen is a daily newspaper based in Key West, Florida, USA. It was formed by merging several earlier publications in the early 1900s. The newspaper officially became known as the Key West Citizen on April 29, 1905, when it published its first weekly edition from 534 Front St. This edition marked the announcement of Flagler's Overseas Railroad reaching Key West.
