REDDING, Calif. - Police in Redding arrested four people, including two teenagers, in two separate incidents that happened on Friday night and Saturday morning. According to the Redding Police Department, officers responded to the area of Old Oregon Trail and Venture Parkway just before midnight on Friday night after receiving reports of a firearm being brandished. Upon arrival at the scene, authorities located the suspect vehicle as it was leaving the area.

OROVILLE, Calif. - CAL FIRE Butte Unit quickly contained a vegetation fire burning in the area of S. 7th Avenue in Oroville. CAL FIRE says that at 4:12 p.m. Sunday, crews were dispatched after receiving reports of a vegetation fire. According to CAL FIRE Butte Unit, three engines and a battalion chief were dispatched to the fire. Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters found a fire that had burned around one-eighth of an acre of vegetation.
