    Word has just arrived about plans for the Business Council For The Arts (BCA)‘ Obelisk Awards Luncheon which celebrates the collaborations of North Texas arts and business communities. Dedicated BCA board members Courtney Johnson of Capital One and Michael Janicek of Corgan will co-chair the event at the JW Marriott – Dallas Arts District on Wednesday, November 19.     How about a free family outing that doesn’t require packing bags, spending hours in cars driving to faraway places or even putting the pets in kennels? It will take place this Saturday (aka the last day of May) from 9 to 11 a.m. at Turtle Creek Park. They’re looking for 100 people of all ages to sign up here and arrive in the Arlington Hall circular driveway for a morning of helping Mother Nature look her finest.
