It features a variety of subjects such as politics, business, dining, fashion, and lifestyle in Dallas. The magazine was first launched in October 1974 by its creators, Wick Allison and Jim Atkinson. It has gained a reputation for its yearly Best and Worst awards, which have been presented since 1977.
