Official Xbox Magazine
Official Xbox Magazine, commonly known as OXM, is a monthly publication dedicated to video games that first launched in November 2001, coinciding with the debut of the original Xbox. A preview edition was made available during E3 2001, followed by another in November of the same year. Each issue originally came with a disc featuring game demos, trailers, preview videos, and various extras like updates for games or Xbox, as well as free gamerpics. These discs also offered software that enabled backward compatibility for original Xbox games on the Xbox 360 for users without broadband or Xbox Live. However, as of January 2012, OXM stopped including the demo disc. In mid-2014, the U.S. version merged with the UK version online, but this arrangement was short-lived, as Future plc decided to shut down its website, which also included other publications like Edge and Computer and Video Games. By February 2015, OXM and all of Future's sites were redirected to GamesRadar. Despite these changes, the magazine continues to be published in the UK, US, and Australia.
