The Seattle Post-Intelligencer, often referred to as the Seattle P-I, the Post-Intelligencer, or just the P-I, is an online publication that serves Seattle, Washington, and its nearby regions. Originally established in 1863 as the weekly Seattle Gazette, it eventually transitioned to a daily broadsheet format. For many years, it was one of Seattle's two main daily newspapers, alongside The Seattle Times. However, on March 18, 2009, it shifted to operate solely online.

Burger was injured on a swing during Friday night’s 6-2 win over the Pirates. Infielder Justin Foscue was recalled from Triple-A Round Rock and was in uniform for Saturday’s game.
