The Seattle Post-Intelligencer, often referred to as the Seattle P-I, the Post-Intelligencer, or just the P-I, is an online publication that serves Seattle, Washington, and its nearby regions. Originally established in 1863 as the weekly Seattle Gazette, it eventually transitioned to a daily broadsheet format. For many years, it was one of Seattle's two main daily newspapers, alongside The Seattle Times. However, on March 18, 2009, it shifted to operate solely online.
