A body found in a reservoir near Mount St. Helens belongs to a missing hunter, deputies said. Getty Images/iStockphoto A 72-year-old man’s body was found seven months after he vanished during a hunting trip in Washington, deputies said. Someone reported finding a body June 22 in the Swift Reservoir, just south of Mount St. Helens, the Skamania County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post. Deputies and the county coroner got on a boat to recover it, authorities said.

Now, almost 10 years later, that's exactly what Smith is doing. His last day as superintendent will be Monday, June 30. "I believe that I've provided what my board wanted to see, what our community wanted to see, what our staff wanted to see," Smith said.
