Shacknews, often called "The Shack," is a website dedicated to providing news, articles, editorials, and community forums about computer and console gaming. Currently, it is owned by Gamerhub Content Network. The site was previously owned by Steve Gibson and Maarten Goldstein, who ran it as an independent gaming journalism platform for more than ten years before selling it to Gamefly. In January 2014, Gamerhub Content Network acquired Shacknews.
