Charlotte's going to have another issue on their hands. There's increasing noise that the Charlotte Hornets may end up selecting Kon Knueppel with their fourth-overall pick in next week's NBA Draft. All things considered, I think Knueppel would be one of the best picks they could make. However, making that decision would also reveal Charlotte's need for more perimeter-oriented players that can create off the dribble on offense. Yahoo Sports' Jake Fischer reported on his Substack that the Sixers have already worked out VJ Edgecombe, and have another workout scheduled with Ace Bailey. If Philly is dead-set on drafting one of these high-upside wings, that could leave the Hornets in prime position to select Kon Knueppel with the fourth pick.

Charlotte will want to waste no time with this one. For the Charlotte Hornets, a lot of what goes in to improving their win-loss record next season is going to come down to health. Fans are sick of talking about it, but if this team can just find themselves with a clean injury report for an extended stretch, they'll finally be able to reach their potential.
