Redick and Porzingis played together in Dallas, which they talked about, but they also touched on his new team the Boston Celtics, his tenure with the Knicks, and his brief stop in Washington. Despite dealing with many injuries during his career, Porzingis has always been a productive player.

Bilal Coulibaly has finally played a regular-season NBA game. He finished the game against the Indiana Pacers with 3 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists in 23 minutes. His only bucket was a corner 3-point shot off a Corey Kispert pass with close to seven minutes left in the second quarter. He finished with three turnovers, which is to be expected from a rookie. He’s young and looking to make plays so he is going to make mistakes.

The Washington Wizards were outrebounded in their last preseason game against the Raptors. The leading rebounder for the Wizards was Deni Avdija with seven. The next most came from Daniel Gafford and Corey Kispert with four. On the opposing side, the Raptors had six players with at least five rebounds, with Jakob Poeltl leading them with nine. Washington’s frontcourt depth is less than ideal, having no 7-footers on the roster.

Harden was the Sixth Man for the Oklahoma City Thunder before he became the star in Houston, similar to Poole’s situation in Golden State to Washington.

Jordan Poole has unquestionable potential. He’s already shown flashes of that potential while being overshadowed playing with future Hall of Famers. Now it’s time to show what he can do as the first option on his own team. Poole can be the primary scorer on a -.500 team if he has a co-star. In the 26 games that Steph Curry missed last season, Poole was inserted into the starting lineup and put up 26 points and 5 assists per game over that span.
