    The Helena Senators scored three runs in the top of the seventh to earn a 6-3 victory over the Bozeman Bucks in class AA American Legion action on Wednesday evening at Heroes Park in Bozeman. The Bucks staged a late comeback attempt in their final at bat, scoring twice in the bottom of the seventh but ultimately coming up three runs short of forcing extra innings. Next up for the Senators will be a home game Wednesday, June 11 hosting Great Falls.

    The Montana State football program received a pair of verbal commitments from in-state offensive line recruits over the past week. Havre's Tommy Lewis announced his decision to become a Bobcat on Saturday, May 31st via social media. Lewis, listed at 6-foot-5 and 295 pounds, will be a senior for the Blue Ponies this fall and held additional offers from the Montana Grizzlies as well as Carroll College, Montana Western and Montana Tech.
