With over 50 Mexican Restaurants and eateries within a small radius, why would we need a new one? We stopped in at Los Caminos at Lakeside in south Flower Mound to find out. And find out we did. This is not a Tex-Mex place, but merges traditional Mexican dishes and flavors with a modern twist. The restaurant is beautifully finished with large, comfortable booths, elegant décor and warm lighting.

When they couldn’t find it in North Texas, they decided to start their own food truck, and just a short time later, they’ve got one restaurant open in Denton and are already considering opening more. Michelle said she and her husband had both been born and raised in the Tri-State area, but in 2021 they made a “big faith move” to south Denton with their four young children.

Due to inclement weather cancelations earlier this school year, Denton ISD students won’t be getting an extra-long weekend next month, the district announced Monday. School districts build possible student holidays into the academic calendar each year; if several school days get canceled due to bad weather, some of those missed days will be made up later in the year. If there weren’t many weather-related closures, students will get extra days off later.

It was later recovered in Dallas. On the morning of Nov. 10, a man reported that his Dodge Charger worth $31,000 was stolen from the 2200 block of Zenith Avenue. There was broken windshield glass on the ground where the car had been parked.

The Corinth Police Department on Thursday warned residents in a social media post about a new scam involving crash reports. “A citizen, who was recently involved in a crash, advised she was contacted by a crash report company who told her the other vehicle’s insurance company was assuming complete responsibility,” the department said in a statement.
