The Irish Post
The Irish Post is the top-selling national newspaper catering to the Irish community in Great Britain. It comes out every Wednesday and can be found in stores throughout Britain, as well as in certain shops in the Republic of Ireland. The newspaper was established in February 1970 by journalist Breandán Mac Lua and businessman Tony Beatty from County Waterford, Ireland. In 2003, it was purchased by Thomas Crosbie Holdings (TCM).

A MAN has been charged in relation to an attack on the Belfast Islamic Centre, in which a window was broken and a viable device thrown inside while people were in the building. A 34-year-old man was arrested at the scene following the incident on University Road at around 10pm in Friday. The building was evacuated, while Ammunition Technical Officers removed the device for forensic examination.

TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man sustained serious injuries in a suspected machete attack in Co. Down. The incident happened in the Tipperary Lane area of Newcastle on Saturday afternoon. The suspects made off from the scene but were detained shortly afterwards in the Bunkers Hill area of nearby Castlewellan.

Speaking last night, US President Donald Trump said American strikes had 'completely and totally obliterated' the sites at Fordow, Natanz and Esfahan. A TEENAGE boy has died after getting into difficulty while swimming in the River Nanny in Co. Meath. He has been named locally as Kofi Owusu, 15, from Dundalk, Co. Louth. In a statement, Kofi's school paid tribute to him and described the incident as 'a terrible tragedy'. It is believed the teenager and some friends had travelled to Laytown on Friday to enjoy the water on the hottest day of the year.
