Our TV movie pick for tonight (Wednesday, 23 April) is True Crime, the 1999 mystery crime thriller directed by and starring Clint Eastwood (Unforgiven). Based on Andrew Klavan’s 1995 novel, the film sees Eastwood play Steve Everett, a womanising journalist and recovering alcoholic. “A chance assignment finds Everett interviewing death row inmate Frank Beachum (Isaiah Washington, Clockers),” the plot synopsis reads.

A Dublin City Council survey has found that 78% of people say that they find Dublin’s nightlife to be worse than countries they have visited abroad. The Citizen Survey Report on Night-Time Economy also found that two out of three people would like to see more night-time options in the capital.
