The Marlborough Express
The Marlborough Express is a newspaper that caters to the Marlborough region of New Zealand. Based in Blenheim, it has been in circulation since 1866. The paper transitioned to a daily publication in 1880 and later acquired its competitors, the Marlborough Times in 1895 and the Marlborough Press in 1948. In 1998, it was purchased by Independent Newspapers Limited (INL) and is currently part of Fairfax.

A kea injured by a lead bullet in Ligar Bay earlier this year is responding well to treatment four months after it was found limping by a Kea Conservation Trust worker.
