The Nudge
The Nudge is a unique, independent guide that highlights the finest events happening in London. Designed for those who want to stay informed about London's happenings but don't have the time to browse through lengthy listings and reviews, it simplifies the search. By filtering out less appealing events, launches, and entertainment options that you might find in larger, more general city guides, The Nudge focuses solely on the top picks. To make things even easier, three carefully chosen features are sent to your inbox each week, providing a concise overview of the best events you shouldn't miss in London that week.

Eel sushi bar has just opened in Notting Hill – and because it comes to us from the edgily cool, we-sit-at-the-back-of-the-bus team at Dorian, it’s got “no omakase horsesh*t and ponce” and is just a sushi bar. Which, frankly, is actually quite refreshing. Especially because they’re explicitly labelling it as “low priced“, which coming from these guys is a fairly bold move.

The team went and reinvented it as Leroy, won a Michelin Star, and closed a couple of years later. Now, team members from Leroy have decided to reinvent it as Duchy, and are probably hoping to continue exactly one half of that pattern. The two guys spearheading this reboot are chef Simon Shand and manager Alex Grant.
