    TWIN FALLS — It’s the water. The real estate agent selling the 277 acres of picturesque property in the Snake River Canyon is emphasizing a feature that will go to a new owner — lots of water in the form of an artesian geothermal well flowing at 14.6 million gallons per day. Heidi Baldwin listed the property last fall on behalf of the owners, the McCollum family, and said there has been significant interest. A company was hired to verify the amount of hot water flowing from the well.

    BURLEY — It was a crime that shook this community two years ago. A knife-wielding man wearing a black hoodie sexually assaulted a woman in her house and entered two other homes, one time yelling at an occupant that he was going to kill her. He discovered a 4-year-old girl at the other home, put a blanket over her head, picked her up and carried her around the house. Security cameras captured video of the chilling incident.

    Idaho’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate decreased from 3.7% to 3.6% in May, the Idaho Department of Labor announced in a news release issued Friday. For May, the number of nonfarm jobs in Idaho increased by 2,500 jobs, for a total of 883,400 jobs, according to the Idaho Department of Labor.
