CLEVELAND — Enjoy the taste of summer today! It will be even warmer today with high temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s. A few clouds and even an isolated afternoon or evening rain shower will occur in a couple of spots, but most of the area will stay dry the entire day. Clouds will be increasing by this evening and tonight, along with a few showers that will continue to increase by Friday. Rain will return Friday with scattered thunderstorms, especially during the afternoon and evening.

CLEVELAND — Happy Easter! After a cold front passed through NEO on Saturday, we are waking up to much colder temperatures. Plan for 40s out the door. It will be warmer inland this afternoon. Highs will be in the mid to upper 50s lakeside, with 60s expected inland. The front is now stalled out near the Ohio River, and it will hang out there for most of the day with high pressure to the north.

A first responder is dead after he was struck by a vehicle while on the scene of another crash, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Just before 10:40 p.m. on Friday, Lieutenant Paul Charles Mickolick with the Town and County Fire District responded to Stratton Road in Wooster after a vehicle, driven by a 33-year-old man, had gotten stuck in a ditch, OSHP said.
