WTTW-TV (Chicago, IL)
WTTW, which broadcasts on virtual channel 11 (UHF digital channel 47), is a PBS member station and serves as the main PBS outlet in Chicago, Illinois. This station is operated by the non-profit organization Window to the World Communications, Inc., and is affiliated with WFMT, a classical music radio station at 98.7 FM. Both WTTW and WFMT are housed in the Renée Crown Public Media Center, located on North Saint Louis Avenue near Northeastern Illinois University, in the North Park area of the city. WTTW's transmission facilities are situated on top of the Willis Tower on South Wacker Drive in the Chicago Loop. In addition, the station runs The Chicago Production Center, a facility dedicated to video production and editing, which operates in conjunction with both stations.
