WMAQ-TV is part of a duopoly alongside the Telemundo station WSNS-TV, which broadcasts on channel 44. Additionally, it shares ownership with the regional sports network Comcast SportsNet Chicago. The station's studios and offices are housed in the NBC Tower located on North Columbus Drive in the Streeterville area of Chicago, while its transmitter is positioned on top of the Willis Tower on South Wacker Drive in the Chicago Loop.
