    There was instant karma for two suspected thieves prowling outside the South Warwickshire home of a karate world champion - when he threw one to the ground. Dave Treadwell, 45, was asleep when his wife Kelly, 47, noticed their Ring doorbell alert going off.  Two shady-looking men were seen near the couple's BMWs which were parked outside their home in Bishopston. Dave, a 6th Dan black belt and current World and European Champion, leapt into action and chased the pair down the road.

    French bulldog Lola had a brush with death after she swallowed a hairdresser's 8ins styling comb. The one-year-old pup was taken for treatment after her owner Zoe Parton, 36, noticed Lola choking and struggling to stand up. Lola's vet immediately referred her to Linnaeus-owned Northwest Veterinary Specialists (NWVS) in Sutton Weaver, Cheshire, after the incident earlier this month.
