POLK COUNTY, Ga. — A former Polk County Sheriff's Office employee was arrested and accused of DUI on Saturday, according to Sheriff Johnny Moats. The sheriff stated in a Facebook post that the incident happened at 1:20 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, when a Dallas Police Officer pulled over Khalil Rembert for allegedly failing to maintain a lane. Authorities added that Rembert was employed at the Polk County Jail at the time of the traffic stop.
