GETTYSBURG, Pa. — It’s only normal to make sure your lawn is at its best before having guests over. But if you think you have a lot to take care of, try being the Gettysburg National Military Park. “Gettysburg National Military Park is more than 6000 acres, and Eisenhower National Historic Site is almost 500 acres, at 495 total,” recalled Gettysburg National Military Park Communications Specialist Jason Martz. Gettysburg likely has you beat when it comes to those incoming guests, as well.

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. — May in Raider country usually means another quest for championships, and student athletes chasing after personal bests. "We're going to 15. I've had it robbed from me twice," claimed Shippensburg University pole vaulter Joe Ryan. "It's coming. I plan to do that at the PSAC Conference Championships." Ryan certainly has the drive. He was pitched the idea of pole vaulting the day before high schools shut down for the pandemic in 2020.
