MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Tyre Nichols’ family is still seeking justice in a civil lawsuit against the city after three former officers were found not guilty Wednesday on state charges in Nichols’ beating deaths. The five officers, the City of Memphis, and Police Chief C.J. Davis are being sued by Nichols’ family for $550 million. “That’s correct. The civil lawsuit is still pending,” said Antonio Romanucci, Nichols’ family attorney.
