SHEBOYGAN COUNTY – Whistling Straits will host the PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship for the first time May 5 to 7. The three-day tournament will bring 180 student-athletes — 27 teams and 45 individuals — from historically Black colleges and universities, Hispanic-serving institutions and other Minority-Serving Institutions that support students from diverse backgrounds. Student-athletes will compete for Men’s Division I and II, Women’s Team division and individual titles.

The children's museum opened the Culture Exchange Exhibit in spring 2023, focusing on the Hmong community. Gabriela Marván moved from Mexico to Wisconsin in 2019. Marván specializes in cartonería and has been making art for more than 10 years. SHEBOYGAN – Above & Beyond Children’s Museum will host a listening session about the Culture Exchange Exhibit's second iteration in early May, as the space transitions to feature the Latinx community.
