WENATCHEE, Wash. (KING) – The mom of the three young girls who were found murdered in Washington state said she believes their deaths were a result of multiple system failures. The Wenatchee Police Department said 9-year-old Paityn Decker, 8-year-old Evelyn Decker, and 5-year-old Olivia Decker were found dead near the Rock Island Campground on Monday. Officials believe they were killed by their father, 32-year-old Travis Decker, during a planned visitation. Police are still looking for him.

SEATTLE — Seattle City Council will vote on renovations at Memorial Stadium after a committee approved plans on Wednesday. The vote next week addresses an overlooked part of Seattle Center, which recently saw upgrades to the Space Needle. Seattle Public Schools will then vote on the renovations June 4. If approved, it would be the official go-ahead, setting up a tentative open house and groundbreaking later this summer.

SEATTLE — Spot shrimp season is underway in Puget Sound, but for some areas, it's already over. The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife cut the season short in multiple locations due to troubling signs in the shrimp population.
