(WJW) – It’s a chilly morning with spots in the 40s, but lighter winds than yesterday!Tuesday will be a cooler and quieter day. Despite a ton of sunshine, highs on Tuesday will range from the 50s in the primary snowbelt to well in the 60s across the rest of the area. Temperatures will start rebound midweek. Highs on Wednesday will be back up above 70 degrees. A brief rain shower could develop on Wednesday as a warm front lifts north across the area. Most of Northeast Ohio will stay dry.

(WJW) — Easter Sunday will be mostly dry. A stray rain shower, or two, cannot be ruled out. Highs on Sunday will range from the 50s along the lake shore to the upper 60s for places south of I-76. The same cold front that will drop south of the area Saturday night will move back north as a warm front Sunday night. Scattered rain showers and a few storms will develop along the warm front Sunday night into Monday morning.

(WJW) — Some storms and rain showers this morning scattered about on the warm muggy morning. Saturday is going to be soggy at times. The threat of storms looks low however, a stronger storm capable of producing gusty winds and small hail cannot be ruled out, mainly south of US 30. Drier later in the day. Cooler air will follow the front on Saturday, so temperatures will likely drop throughout the day. A few rain showers could linger into Easter Sunday.

Monday will be one of the warmer days next week. Highs on Monday will be in the mid to upper 60s. Unfortunately, the warm spring weather will not last very long. A cold front will move through late Monday into Monday night and knock our temperatures down.

CLEVELAND (WJW) – A little warmer today, with highs near 50 at lunch, but temperatures will fall by late afternoon into the 30s. A strong cold front will drop south across the area Monday afternoon and evening. A band of rain/snow showers will develop along the front as it pushes through Northeast Ohio. The commute home on Monday will be slushy in spots. The cold front will push the rain/snow showers east of the area shortly after 8PM. The wind will also pick up out of the northwest behind the front.

(WJW) — A Flood Watch remains in effect for Ashland County through 5 p.m. Sunday. The same cold front that will push the rain south of the area will also bring in a shot of much cooler air. Highs on Sunday will only be in the upper 30s. A clipper system and cold front will bring in a wintry mix of rain and snow Monday evening into Tuesday. Light snowfall accumulations (a dusting to an inch) will be possible, especially in the snowbelt. Temperatures 20° below normal as we head into Opening Day.

Temperatures will warm into the mid to upper 60s Sunday afternoon. Sunday is also going to be a breezy day. Most of Sunday afternoon will be dry. Sunday is not the day where you want to see a lot of sunshine, though. A line of strong to severe storms will fire up across Illinois, Indiana, and southern Michigan late Sunday afternoon.
