COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Don't let the sunny and warm conditions the Valley will see for the first half of the day fool you because stormy weather will move through this evening. We are starting off this morning with temperatures in the 70s across the area and will warm to the mid-90s by the afternoon with mostly sunny skies. The changes come this evening as potentially strong to severe storms will move through the area.

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - All eyes are on the Gulf of Mexico as Tropical Storm Debby makes its way up the Florida coastline. It is expected to make landfall in the Florida Big Bend as a Category 1 Hurricane, but how is this storm going to impact the weather in the Valley? For today, we aren't going to see much change. Temperatures are in the 70s this morning and will warm to the low to mid-90s.

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - The heat and humidity we have seen all week continues this weekend in the Valley with one slight difference as rain returns to the forecast. The setup for the weekend weather is nothing new to the Valley as highs reach the mid-90s but with the added humidity, it'll feel like the low 100s both days. In typical summertime weather fashion, shower/storm development kicks off in the afternoon and will last through the late evening.

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - It's going to be another wet and rainy day at times for most in the Valley. Temperatures this morning are in the 70s across the area and will warm up to the mid to upper 80s, that is if the rain doesn't move in before lunchtime. Showers and storms will develop in a very similar way to what the Valley saw yesterday. A few of these storms will bring brief downpours, rumbles of thunder, and gusty winds, but we are not expecting severe conditions.

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Get ready for another toasty weekend in the Valley as temperatures approach the triple digits today and tomorrow! The Valley is still basking in the less humid conditions a cold front brought us earlier this week, but the humidity will gradually increase going into the work week. Since the air is drier than a typical July day and the abundance of sunshine this morning, temperatures will warm up quickly for us.
